Voices of Columbia Shatters It's Goal! |
We are thrilled to announce that Voices of Columbia was a huge success, raising a total of $74,000!! That is $22,000 more than we have ever raised before! Those funds represent almost 3,000 hours of care and advocacy for children in foster care. WOW. We had an absolute blast with everyone. The music, lawn games, food, drinks, raffles, friends, and sunshine made it a perfect afternoon. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and we can't wait to do it all again next year. See you at Voices of Columbia 2024!

A CASA youth graduated highschool in May and received a scholarship to play football at a small college in Washington State! He is overcoming the odds and we are so proud of him! His coach is very supportive and will help him get settled once he is out there, but he needs our help to get to Washington. We are asking for your support to help with his flight, meals, and a little cushion until he can start a part time job. If you can contribute even a small amount, anything will help! Please donate at the link below and put "College Support" in the note.
Thank you for helping make this young man's dream come true!! |

CASA loved getting to be part of the Juneteenth Parade in downtown Columbia again this year. It's an important moment in history to celebrate and remember! It's always fun to get the board, staff, and volunteers together to spread awareness, too. They handed out almost 1,000 bags of candy with CASA info cards along the parade route. Go CASA! |

New Chapter Coaching, LLC awarded Heart of Missouri CASA the "Make It Happen" organization award along with a $500 check! They have been such a support to us over the last several years, and we highly recommend their services for nonprofit training and strategic planning. We’re better together!! |
