Hi *{{Informal Name}}*,
We hope you are doing well and making some fun memories this fall. We had a great time at CoMo Oktoberfest a couple of weekends ago! It was a terrific weekend out at Cooper's Landing, but the weather sure made it adventurous. Our booth took the brunt of a storm that rolled through on Saturday night and destroyed our tent. We salvaged what we could and carried on! Staff, board members, and volunteers helped keep everything going all weekend and it was still a huge success. If you came out to Oktoberfest, we want to say thank you for helping raise funds for Heart of Missouri CASA! Events like this also help raise awareness in our community about the important work CASA does and the impact it makes in the life of a child. A huge thanks to Tom Bradley for this amazing opportunity!

Impact Moment After a recent meeting for her case, CASA Gina received an encouraging email from one of the team members who had been present.
"Thank you for all of your input during the meeting today. I really appreciated your insight and recommendations for the family and just wanted you to know that you are doing an amazing job advocating for the kids. I also really appreciated you getting bio mom on the phone so she could be a part of the meeting. Thank YOU!"
While it's true that stakeholders often have different points of view or opinions about what is best for children, it's also possible for there to be mutual respect and teamwork. This is a great reminder of that! We celebrate Gina's team mentality and how she advocates for the children on her case. Keep up the great work, Gina!
