![]() CASA Yoko helped facilitate improved family communication.
CASA Yoko advocates for two siblings. Yoko spoke with both the mother and both children, and they talked about how to avoid fighting between the siblings, which has been the mother's concern. Yoko introduced a way to compliment each other using heart-shaped paper (since February was the month of St. Valentine's Day). Yoko suggested to write positive messages on the paper and tape them in their home.

At Heart of Missouri CASA, the children we advocate for are victims of abuse, and one of our goals is to see that these children do not experience abuse again.
In order to raise awareness for Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Month, anyone who signs up for a recurring gift membership during the month of April will get a pinwheel planted in our virtual pinwheel garden!
What constitutes a recurring gift? Signing up for Circle of Hope, Powerful Voices, or Round-Ups are all options for recurring gift memberships at Heart of Missouri CASA.

Small Commitments Make a Big Impact Meeting our financial goals is crucial for us to make a bigger impact in our community. One of the goals we need your help with is increasing our Circle of Hope members from 27 to 50 this year.
If you choose to join Circle of Hope, it will help us continue to grow our capacity of staff and volunteers, who will provide a consistent voice for a child in foster care.
A recurring monthly gift of $25 a month is all that is required to be a Circle of Hope member. Why $25? Because $25 provides one hour of advocacy for a child. This commitment will directly impact the children who need it most.
As a benefit exclusive to Circle of Hope members, you will also receive special insider information on Heart of Missouri CASA case updates. This information reflects exactly how your monthly gift makes an impact.
