January is Missouri’s Sex Trafficking Awareness Month!
State Senator Jamilah Nasheed will host the 2019 Sex Trafficking Awareness Event at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City on Wednesday, January 23, 8 am – 3 pm (Lunch break 12-2 pm)
8 am – 12 pm Networking
3rd Floor Rotunda
CMSHTC and many other organizations from around the state that are involved in anti-trafficking efforts will be tabling to share their information and resources.
2 pm – 3 pm Rally

The first annual Sex Trafficking Awareness Month event for networking and a rally was hosted by Senator Nasheed in 2016.

To help raise awareness of this horrible crime, I sponsored Senate Concurrent Resolution 1 in 2015 to raise awareness about the serious problem of sex trafficking in Missouri and to examine ways to address this growing concern.”
